Offshore deep-sea facility farming, ie deep-water cage culture, refers to facilities with high input, high efficiency, high risk and high-tech content, which are mainly located in deep coastal areas (the sea area is more than 20cm deep) and have certain resistance to wind and water flow. The aquaculture model has the characteristics of large aquaculture capacity, high yield and high efficiency, which greatly expands the breeding space and also reduces pollution and the spread of diseases caused by intensive farming.

In order to sum up the phased implementation results of the project “Development and Aquaculture Technology Innovation and Achievement Transformation and Application of Offshore Seas Facilities”, and better promote the project implementation, we organized various units and project leaders on July 23, 2019. The project summary exchange meeting was held on the day. The units under this meeting will summarize and exchange in the form of PPT. The contents of the report mainly include the implementation of the project in the first half of 2019, the achievements, the use of funds, the problems and the schedule of the second half of 2019. In response to the questions raised at the meeting, each undertaking unit reached the following consensus: 1. In terms of intellectual property rights, the subject evaluation indicators can be expressed in accordance with the actual situation, and each undertaking unit can apply for the filing of international PCT patents in Brunei through Haishitong; In cooperation with Wenfang, it has reached an agreement with many research institutions in Brunei, and the test equipment can be shared. In addition, Haishitong has purchased some equipment and the base laboratory has gradually improved. 3. In terms of project funding, there are difficulties in the use of Brunei in terms of expenditure methods, such as international travel expenses, labor service expenditure channels, etc. In the next step, each responsible unit will report to the Science and Technology Department for application, and the use of matching funds will be clarified. 4. In the process of project implementation, if it is necessary to conduct research, such as Brunei, each undertaking unit must submit the schedule in advance, and the project implementation plan, such as project production, and the unified planning and unified planning of the production units.
